Glossop North End Association Football Club

Founded in 1896, the Club played out of several football grounds before settling at North Road. The Club relocated to their current home, on Surrey Street in 1955.
The ground boasts a 1,350 capacity, with just over 200 of these seated.

In the early 20th century, The Hillmen played in the top flight of English Football -with Glossop Town being one the smallest areas of the England whose team have played in the top flight!

Did you know: The Club has a small connection to Arsenal. This traces back to the Club's time in the English top-flight, as they were supported financially by future Arsenal chairman Sir Samuel Hill-Wood.
