Maybole Juniors Football Club

Maybole Juniors FC plays in the West of Scotland Football League. The club was founded in 1946 and play at Ladywell Stadium in the town of Maybole which is located in southern Ayrshire.

 

The town of Maybole has a long proud history of football, with references dating as far back as the 18th century, with stories of the local youngsters kicking the round ball around the town. Following the end of WWII football moved to a new home at Ladywell Stadium and in 1946 Maybole Juniors were formed and duly made Ladywell their now well-established home.
 

Did you know:

The Boles most notable match is considered to be a Scottish Cup match on 27 January 1900 against Glasgow Rangers. The match was played at Ibrox Stadium and despite a brave performance, Maybole ended up with a 12 - 0 defeat however this is still one of the most memorable days in the club's history.
