Middlesex has a history that spans well over a thousand years, to 704 AD - the Middlesex County Council was created in 1889 and abolished in 1965 - Parliament has confirmed, on numerous occasions, that the administrative County of Middlesex was abolished but not Middlesex. This group is a celebration of the history, heritage and geography of the current County of Middlesex which, to this day, despite what you might be told or read, remains as it always was, the life and soul of its community.
